The oldest frame house in the state of Tennessee (built between 1775 and 1781), the mansion home exhibits an exquisitely detailed interior, decorated with chair railings, crown molding and hand-carved panels. Over 90 percent of the interior materials are original. It is located just east of downtown Elizabethton.
